Cara Hines, AIA, designed this stand-up desk, credenza and conference table. The client liked to think on his feet, so the stand-up desk, constructed of cherry veneer and polished one inch solid stainless steel rod, give him a place to jot down notes without sitting down. The matching credenza employed an asymmetrical element for greater visual interest. The conference table has four stainless steel flip-up doors, each with a duplex receptacle, one phone, and one network jack. Constructed of re-constituted veneer and rift cut oak, it was dyed a deep gray and received a high polish finish.
